Oat fibre applications:
All our fibres were designed for the fast-growing market of food producers who create healthy natural products with a “high fibre” claim that meets EU regulation. A claim that a food is high in fibre, may only be made where the product contains at least 6g of dietary fibre per 100g.
Our oat fibre powders can also be used in projects that advertise a “health claim“. According to EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) oat fibre, like barley and wheat fibre, increases faecal bulk.
Having neutral flavour and taste oat fibre can be used in many food applications, including bakery products such as bread, cakes, cookies and pizza dough, but also in ketchup and mustard to reduce top of product moisture. It can be usefull in dietary recipes, fitness bars and granola, and also in savoury instant products like soups and sauces.
