BLACK SEED OIL

Black cumin seed oil has strong effect on the skin and has antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, healing, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Its use strengthens immunity, regenerates the skin and reduces scars. The oils is anti-parasitic and it regulates skin pigmentation. The black cumin oil is recommended for allergic and psoriatic skin conditions, acne, discoloration and vitiligo. Research has shown that this oil works even against the resistant staphylococcus aureus.

Cold pressed black cumin seed oil has ingredients that are not found in other vegetable oils. Among these are nigellina, nigellimina, nigellon, thymol, carvacol, thymohydroquinone and thymochinone. These compounds are responsible for its strong antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, antiparasitic, antifungal and anti-pigmentation, anti-inflammatory and pro-resistance properties. Nigella Sativa also has unsaturated fatty acids present in the oil. These are primarily linoleic acid (Omega-6), which improves the lipid barrier of the epidermis, as well as induces the regulation of sebaceous gland secretions, the unblocking of skin pores and the reduction of blackheads.

Nigella Sativa  is rich in the phytosterols that are the plant equivalent of the sterols found in the skin, which strengthen the lipid barrier of the skin, inhibit water loss, regenerate and have anti-inflammatory effects. The oil of black cumin seed oil contains minerals, B vitamins, flavonoids and forms of vitamin E with the highest antioxidant effect, i.e. tocotrienols and gamma-tocopherol. Its application effectively helps in cases of acne lesions, psoriasis or rosacea, and aids in healing skin damage and preventing scarring. Research has shown that this oil works even against the resistant staphylococcus aureus.

Black cumin seed oil application & properties:

  • Is a natural oil with a herbal scent, characteristic of nigella sativa. It does not cause skin colouring. 
  • Suggested concentration: 5%-100%.
